During the relaxing trip from the train station to the boat station you will get to know Spiez and enjoy the beautiful view of the castle and Lake Thun.
The Fun Train, a little blue train on wheels is the emblem of Spiez. On a pleasurable round trip with audio guide between train station and boat station you will discover the nicest parts of Spiez and learn lots of general knowledge about the village. The little train is en route from Easter to mid-October from Sunday to Friday every afternoon. The information about Spiez is provided in German and in English.
Please disembark!
The Fun Train travels to various stations on its circular tour. Our tip: disembark at the stop «Frei- und Seebad» and enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the lake. For children there is a paddling pool available, whilst adults can refresh themselves with a jump into Lake Thun.
How about a round of mini golf? The playground at the bay makes children’s’ eyes light up and in the Puravida Bucht Kiosk the necessary refreshment is waiting for you.
Here you get to the timetable 2025
The Fun Train is also available for groups. On the scheduled trips group reservations can be made.
By groups every 10th person travels free. With schools, kindergartens and tour groups with impaired persons the adult carer travels free.
