Spiezer wine stroll

The culinary hike on the about 3.5-kilometer-long panorama circuit trail through the beautiful vineyards of Spiez takes place on the Saturday before the Läset-Sunntig

In honour of the Spiez wine. At a total of nine different positions the participants can expect many culinary highlights. A special «Spiezer» wine-tasting as well as appropriate snacks are included in the ticket. At the end of the Spiezer wine stroll an evening musical entertainment programme rounds off the day.

On the following Sunday the Läset-Sunntig takes place. The legendary Spiez-Märit (market) also belongs to the fixed programme on the the following Monday.

The Spiezer Läset-Sunntig

The Läset-Sunntig is one of the highlights of the Spiezer event programme. A big, colourful parade is the centerpiece of the traditional event. Since more than 50 years this spectacle attracts just as much the locals as the it does the guests to Spiez. Apart from the parade, refreshments with folklore entertainment and concerts add to the atmosphere..

Spiez-Märit (market)

Traditionally after the Läset-Sunntig the traditional Spiez-Märit. Significantly more than 100 market- and food and beverage stands turn the Spiezer town centre into a lively market. The Spiez-märit yearly attracts many visitors from far and wide as well as many «homesick Spiezers». People meet up for a chat, swap memories and experiences and provide themselves with various products at the different market stands.
