Vineyards characterize the landscape of Spiez for hundreds of years. The wine growing association in Spiez takes care of the unique alpine viticulture.
By the vineyards on Spiezberg, in Faulensee and in Spiezwiler there are the highest vineyards north of the Alps. About 80’000 bottles of wine – fresh-fruity white wine or high quality, elegant fragrant-fruity red wines – are yearly pressed. The Spiezer alpine viticulture represents character wines: Authentic, irreplaceable and genuine!
Every Wednesday evening between 17:00 and 19:00 Spiezer wines can be tasted in the shop.
The shop is open every weekday from 08:00 to 11:30. Outside of opening times the Spiezer wine can be ordered from the online shop.
Are you looking for an exciting fringe programme for your event? The Rebbau Spiez offers entertaining guided tours through the vineyard landscape and the historic wine cellars. Experts will gladly tell you more about the award-winning quality wines.
The grapes are harvested by hand in September. Every year the viticulture relies on many helpers. Would you like to contribute to the success of next year’s Spiezer wine? Then contact the viticulture association.
