Bathing area Walenrain

The bathing area Walenrain is picturesquely located between castle and Spiezberg and on hot summer days trees provide a cool shady spot.
 
Nestled between the castle and the vineyards of Spiezberg lies this wonderful idyll. On hot summer days you can relax in the bathing area Walenrain under the trees which give you shade. Numerous benches with words of wisdom ensure comfort. The access to Lake Thun is possible by using secured steps. Children can splash around by the small pebble beach. At the bathing area there is a temporary WC available.
 
The steep access to the bathing area is accessible on foot from the left of the main entrance to Spiez Castle.

• Gastronomy services are available by the castle, at the Schiffländte or in the Spiez Bay
• It is advisable to arrive on foot, with the bicycle or public transport
