Finnenbahn (natural running track)
Since October 2009 Spiez has the first finnenbahn in the Bernese Oberland in the Auwald by the ABC centre. The finnenbahn with healthy running or walking on soft ground treat your back and joints with care.
The track consists of a big lap (ca. 900m) and a small one (ca. 600m) which are connected to each other. Situated not far from the ABC-Halle in the Spiez industrial area is an ideal opportunity for sportswomen and sportsmen who train indoors or on the sportsground to warm-up. The walker, the hobby runner, the ambitious runner and various trainings groups appreciate that. Four big benches at the starting point are inviting for a rest in the shade of the forest. Parking spaces by the ABC-Halle are available.
