Playground Hondrich

At the Maya-Pedersen-Bieri-Platz in Hondrich a multifunctional adventure playground awaits you, which leaves little to be desired. 
 

Football court, hard court with ping-pong table and features for skaters as well as petanque lanes: The adventure playground at the Maya-Pedersen-Bieri-Platz in Hondrich offers sport, play and fun for three age groups. By the playground there are possibilities to sit under a shelter and toilet facilities (incl. diaper changing table, wheelchair access). The view is also delightful: From the foot of the Niesen your eyes will wander across the picturesque Justital.

The playground gets its name from the local skeleton Olympic champion 2006 in Turin, Maya Pedersen-Bieri. After the coup, the community of Spiez together with the local association Hondrich made the local sportsground bigger, renewed it and renamed it to «Maya-Pedersen-Bieri-Platz» in honour of her.
