Hike from Spiez to Interlaken

Hike along Lake Thun from Spiez to Interlaken.

The route from Spiez to Interlaken takes place on the rather shady side of Lake Thun, partially along the shore and through a variable Alpine countryside. The path goes from Spiez to Krattigen via Leissigen and Därligen to Interlaken. A highlight of the tour is the Spissibach-suspension bridge above Leissigen which was opened in 2012. It is 140m long and is located 60 meters above the forested gorge. This trail from Spiez to Interlaken is also a section of the Lake Thun circuit trail.
