The exciting travel through time recounts the best stories about the legendary football world cup title of the German national team in the year 1954. The national team of captain Fritz Walter and trainer Sepp Herberger stayed in the Strandhotel Belvédère in Spiez during the World Cup. The famous and well-recited «The spirit of Spiez» is revived on the SmarTrail with audios, pictures, videos, trivia questions and bonus material.
 
In eleven places you will find out how the German team recharged their batteries in Spiez for this historic «Miracle of Bern» known triumph. The SmarTrail starts at the Strandhotel Belvédère and finally leads you to the lakeside path direction Faulensee.
