Hünegg Castle

The Hünegg Castle in Hilterfingen is a worthwhile destination: In the historic building exciting exhibitions and the castle park with a beautiful view of Lake Thun and the Bernese Alps awaits you and invites you to relax.
 
The Hünegg Castle was built in the 19th hundreds and resembles the Loire-castles in France. In the neat manor there is an exhibition about the lifestyle in the Jugendstil waiting to be explored: The furnishings in Hünegg Castle presents itself unchanged since 1900. The Swiss museum of gastronomy is also on the premises of the castle. In addition to that there are constantly changing special exhibitions in the Hünegg Castle.
 
The tidy park area and the castle terrace with a splendid view of Lake Thun invites you to relax. Enjoy a house-made coffee or a glass of wine from the region in the castle café.
 
By the way: The castle garden Hünegg and the castle cellar can be rented out all year round for festivities and events.
 

Hünegg Open-air

For more than 30 years the Hünegg Open-air takes place in the summer. An event which you don’t want to miss. True to the motto “small but nice” every year local bands play in the Hünegg park in front of a unique backdrop and fascinate spectators with their musical skills.
